The beauty of camming is that it gives you the opportunity to be in control and work the hours you want to. This presents the perfect work-life balance.
Once you begin to become more established and gain a few regular followers, you’ll be able to pick and choose your hours even more. Be sure to detail the dates and times you’re heading online. This will ensure that your 1-to-1 slots are fully booked, and your group viewings are packed.
Create A Schedule
Being a webcam model entails a lot of personal admin and acute organisation. In order to ensure you are prepared and have as much of a routine as possible, we suggest creating a clear schedule to follow, where possible.
A schedule will enable you to see exactly what your week or month looks like. You can plan your work and social life accordingly; this will encourage you to work when is most beneficial for you and take the appropriate time out for yourself when you need it.
Scheduling is important for client appointments. However, it’s also just as important to jot down things like a pamper evening, a coffee date with friends or even a walk in the park with your favourite tunes on!
Talk to Someone You Trust
Some cam girls find that opening up about their new profession can be hard to do. Being a webcam model can come with a stigma attached to it. Even in this day and age, there are some people that don’t agree that adult work is a valid career. We’ve heard of some instances where family and friends have not been as accepting of the change in job title and this is why it’s important to find someone that is.
Ideally, talking to a friend in person is the best-case scenario. Having an in-person outlet can ensure that you’re not keeping your emotions bottled up, you’re able to talk about whatever is on your mind and have a change of scenery by getting out and about. On the phone is fine too, so long as you’re able to be honest and express yourself in a comfortable environment.
