Do you have a personal Instagram, Facebook and Twitter account that has all your friends and family on? If so, we would advise making your social media profiles private – or deleting them completely.

There is a chance that fans from your live shows could look for these accounts and post photos/videos/screenshots of you. Ultimately, by making your accounts private, it will prevent someone googling your first and last name and will prevent them from seeing pictures of your shows, which may impact on current or future careers – not in online camming.

2. Use a Separate Email for Camming

It’s important to keep your business and personal life separate. Never use your personal email to sign up with cam sites, Amazon wishlists and social media accounts. You never know if an application or website may share your details with your contact list and followers so using a business email can avoid people finding your personal information.

3. Create a cam-related Snapchat and Twitter
