Making A List, Checking It Twice…
Amazon’s wish list feature is a great tool for webcam models to utilise as Christmas approaches. As the world’s largest online retailer, you can find anything you want under one virtual roof. Amazon users are able to easily create and share their wish lists, and others can purchase the requested items for them. For cam models, this means giving your fans a way to spoil you!
From lingerie and tech equipment to jewellery and shoes, nothing is off limits. Don’t be shy, add the things you truly want to be treated to this Christmas. If your regulars want to be on the nice list themselves, they’ll tick your list off quicker than you can say Rudolph!
Gifting All The Way
For cam models, accepting gestures in the form of gifts or gift cards is a fantastic way to get that little extra around this time of year. With many regular clients, they will gift you as an additional on top of payment around Christmas. However, in cases where you’d like to accept high value presents or a gift card as payment, it does have its benefits. You’ll get the full value of the specified amount, without a percentage deducted. The only downside with any gift card is that it has to be spent with the specified retailer. This is perfect for receiving the treats you’re after, but it won’t pay the bills, so to speak.
Santa Friendly and Safe
It’s important that you protect your personal information when making a wish list. Your safety is always the number one priority. Your wish list will be public; according to Amazon, the person purchasing your gift will see your name and the city the package is going to.
If you don’t want your clients knowing your address, it’s important that you create a PO box with an alternative name and location for delivery. This way, you can ensure that your real identity and true address is safe. Although this may be slightly more inconvenient than having mail delivered directly to your home, it’s worth it long-term.
I should also be mentioned that anyone can unmark an item on your wish list and say that it was purchased during casual chat. So, be sure to check if the item has actually been bought by selecting ‘View All’ from the drop-down menu at the top of your wish list. You’ll soon know if anyone is telling fibs worthy of the naughty list.
Email Access
Our successful cam models would recommend that you set up a dedicated professional email address upon starting your new career. This email address can be passed onto your loyal followers and they can send gift cards via it. Not only is this safe and secure for both parties, it means that you can broaden your horizons in terms of what you ask for and what you receive!
