Whilst you can’t control someone’s behaviour, you can certainly control how you respond to it. When others judge you in a negative way, it definitely says more about them than you. It’s highly likely that they have their own insecurities and their comments are a reflection of their own worry. Jealousy notoriously plays a part in the putting down of others.
